yeah crap

I thought the queen was really cool, however the entire thing about how humans previously killed the aliens while being invaded was totally unnecessary and ridiculous, how the fuck would wooden + stone spears do anything to an advanced alien race that has completely destroyed the current age humans with advanced weaponry. Also the kid who played Matt is such a terrible actor, I have no idea why they gave him so much screen time at the end, completely ruined what could have been a much better finale.

That was so anticlimactic.... queen was well done, that was actually impressive. It started out great with the flyers dropping bombs and then it just went down hill.
Didn't see much fighting. And pope? what the fuck?

In the final 10minutes we went through:

- ann's pregnant, ann's fine, the pregnancy was espheni?, ann's dead, ooops nevermind she's fine and not pregnant
- Pope's dead, nope he's back, he's mad, he's not mad, he's gone no explanation

I guess they sorta realized there was no point in trying to make it decent. Everyone who watched the show is going to watch the finale. There was no need to entice people to keep watching, cuz that was the end.

Ann was still pregnant... Hence her big belly at the end and her and Tom touching her stomach and smiling...

Pope thought Tom lost Ann and realized it didn't help him to see Tom in pain.

The episode has a lot of problems, but none of them are what you listed.

lackluster ending. should have been at least a 2 hour finale.

in most hives, there is only a queen though, like in a beehive, or in a termite hill, she gets fucked and he is dismissed.
