My theory right now is a long shot. Buuuut, if I'm right...

Ok so, how awesome would it be if it was later revealed that Taylor Kitsch's character (Paul Woodrugh) is related to 'Errol Childress' in some way. Like maybe his son? And maybe he was the one that burned his shoulder like his father did his face? Also, possibly why he is so fucked up about sex, probably has some major issues that he was trying to escape from. And I still feel like we have yet to see the REAL fucked up villains of this season...

Like, if I am right, am I truly the real 'True Detective'? hahaha

Honestly not sure where this season will go, I think I liked the "direct mystery" of season 1 better.

Wasn't expecting it to be better than season 1, was just hoping it would be almost as good

Sort of disappointed so far, wasn't feeling it as much since the intro music, all feels a bit cliche but seems like it could build into something

he looked good in the trailers but actually watching him try to act wasnt so nice

I actually thought Vaughn's acting was fine. I feel like that his "awkwardness" feel in that first episode was a part of his character. I sense he is holding a lot back. Trying to act professional and whatnot, whereas it seems he just wishes he wants to handle all his problems with violence. In that regard, I feel like his acting gave off that vibe perfectly, though I could be wrong. I still think we have a lot to see from all the characters over the next 7 episodes. If Season 1 has shown us anything, Nic's character arcs are really well done, and often times somewhat suprising.
