that all depends on the given month and how busy I am these last few months I've been slacking A lot so much so that i only just watched rise of the planet of the apes and sin city
but generally i will do about 12-25 movies a month.

depending on my show load I watch most of the "go to" television series as well but thankfully they've mostly come to a mid season break so I have some much needed catch up time on movies

I just finished sopranos in 4 weeks so that should tell you how much i watch :p  6 seasons about 51 mins a piece 13 episodes each season up until the last thats 21

12-25 really isn't much. that's either an hour or two a day. most people probably watch tv for 2-3 hours a day

When my friends want to get together and re-watch all of the LoTR's, I dodge, duck, and hide until they stop asking me. Those movies actually kinda piss me off, and If I told anyone I'd have to defend my opinion. No thanks...

I will however re-watch the hobbit movies without hesitation.

Lotr is up there with the great movies.

The Hobbit isn't great but it definitely I don't think it is garbage like some people are saying.

You're probably right but I have a dream that someday people might give a shit about the plot more than the effects again.

Ah, the true Martin Luther King right here.

Except in your case you would be the black guy sitting on his couch, doing nothing, bitching about "I have a dream that one day somebody will do something about this."

Maybe turn that internet angst into writing some good plots or directing some good movies?

The Making Of LoTR > LoTR

No joke.

110% agree.

The making of LOTR is so interesting. I remember one day I just watched all of the Production Diaries for Hobbot on Peter Jacksons Youtube channel.. https://www.youtube.com/user/pjacksonwingnutfilms/videos

The team behind LOTR is pretty brilliant..

Don't ask opinions from others that may differ from your own. You either like it or not, and the ONLY way for you to get your own opinion, is to watch it.

Yes I watched it, yes I found it decent... would I re-watch it... most likely when I run out of something to watch, but then I just watch Fast and the Furious movies in sequence first, or something else that I like better.

For its' time, it was actually well made, may not have stuck to the books and cut things out, but shit, a trilogy and they could not make it all fit, that says something in its own right.

As for the Hobbit... meh, watch it to get it out of the way... damn I would watch Hunger Games over Hobbit anyday.

End Note: Proud of Peter Jackson and his team... shit, can not complain about a movie that earned 10 awards.
