You guys are all acting like retards, in my personal opinion Troy is a dogshit film but it's definitly ok to prefer it over any other film, including Gladiator.

Stop being elitist over trivial things like taste in movies and let people enjoy what they enjoy.

Battle scenes in Troy are cool. Story is shit, and that's cute since its a fucking myth. And its not beeing elitist over trivial things. Some things are just better than others.

Not when it comes to movies no, it's all subjective and it's all in the eye of the beholder. I'll bet you I can find a guy who has seen way more film than any of us who hate Gladiator with passion
