The marvel universe is huge
It doesn't only consist of characters and tones as hulk and thor
If anything this movie opened the doors for marvel and helps establish that the marvel universe is huge and has a lot of different variations
This movie also introduced a major race in the universe and opened doors to Nova

So far from what I've read on forums and heard in person, the only people who didn't like this movie have a mindset that it's bad because it's a marvel movie and it's not like thor, ironman, captain, and hulk.
And when I asked them how was the story, humor, and action they said it's ok or it was pretty entertaining.

I agree with what you're saying, but I still don't think the movie was executed as well as the other recent marvel movies.

Without a doubt, the guardians of the galaxy characters are not as mainstream as the avengers team, so it's easy to find it harder to like them.

I still think the movie was trying to hard to be funny, it was almost silly. Nothing like a bunch of "superheroes" having a pow wow, asking if everyone will be friends with each other.

So once again, it was the exact same format as the Avengers but without mainstream characters. I don't know why you bother posting, everything you've ever posted is completely idiotic.

GOTG tried TOO hard to be comical like the recent Marvel movies. In other words, it came off as sloppy.

What exactly did I miss from your previous statement? You stated it wasn't executed as well as recent Marvel movies. I see you like to be as vague as possible so you can flip when challenged without looking like a putz. Please let me know exactly which Marvel movies had been better executed. You constantly post your opinion and that's fine but you need to understand that you're an idiot and your opinion is always going to be taken with a grain of salt, or more likely, as nothing more than a joke.

You missed something in a previous thread, that's why I attacked your ability to understand simple text. I've missed nothing, I think a fucking halfwit could formulate more thought provoking responses than what you bring to the table day after day.

How many times do I have to say that it tried too hard to be funny? The recent Marvel movies ( do you really need me to name them....honestly), to me, had the right humor, at the right time. Like I previously said, watching it a second time may change my mind about it as I typically enjoy movies better the second time around.

I don't need to get into a war when talking about a movie. I don't need your attitude, move along.

The humor was on par with a lot of Marvel movies that have done well both in ratings and monetarily. You find the exact same humor that was good in lets say the Avengers off-putting from a group of unknowns because you're an idiot. Unless it's spoon-fed to you by one of your favorite characters you know nothing about, it must not be funny.
