@ The_Doves.

It seems that you are passionate about keeping your childhood memories intact, with that said, it is just simple. If you do not like what they bring out in the Movies, then don't watch it.
If you want to do something about it, then post all your grievances to THEM... I personally don't want to read what you are posting, because I don't care much about a Comic version vs a Movie
version. Don't get me wrong, there are comics I loved as a kid and movies and TV shows were directed differently... basically a Movie or TV show is a different genre compared to a comic book.

Take it up with Michael Bay and any other Director/Producers that get it wrong in your mind. End Note: you still have your childhood memories, hence the reason you can not stop voicing your opinion.

If people can post here advocating these shitty movies (my opinion), I will continue to show my disapproval of them. Again, my opinions. Sharing is caring.

With that said, why do you post things like this in another thread?

You basically are half-way through with the Michael Bay blowjob for the year... Might as well finish him off...

Don't forget to swallow. Though, let's be honest, you won't...

Is that quote you made in another tmnt thread advocating your opinion in a proper manner? Not really, you are acting like a little kid that dropped his/her ice cream on the ground and pulling a major tantrum to be heard.

I enjoyed it for what it was. Was the first giant robot movie that I was impressed with. Mainly because it felt believable with the size scheme. Not an easy feat to pull off. The story was "ok". The visual effects and translation of logistics from the scaling was impressive to me. You can tell they had people that cared about getting it right. Something most movies lack nowadays...

You contradict yourself so badly......

You just admitted that you can enjoy movies for ENTERTAINMENT.

You make too many assumptions.....You have NO idea if people "care" or "not care."

my job here is done.

The fuck are you talking about. I just said I enjoyed it for it's artistic direction with the design scheme of the robots. How the fuck do you twist words so badly? I didn't say I enjoyed it for it's mindless action and explosions...

You did, you just did it in a more "fancy" way to cover yourself.

Not that I'm trying to boast transformers in any way, but how can one not be impressed by the robots in those movies?.....How can one not be impressed with how they transform?

Okay, let me break it down in a less "fancy" way so your brain can process my feelings about Pacific Rim accurately.

From a technical standpoint, and the artistic direction of the design specs. You know, someone has to visually transfer drawings/art to make them work on screen, a process involving rendering. Taking that idea. From page to screen, impressed me. I was a fan of Guillermo del Toro, as a director. I watched and followed a lot of interviews leading up to the production of this film. Seeing his passion and enthusiasm for this film come to life, impressed me.

Do I need to break it down further? Or, do you still want to try twist what I'm saying to try and save face...

Yeah because relating human actors in action movies to million ton giant robots fighting equally gigantic monsters, is exactly the precedent of comparison I was going for. Ya got me all figured out kiddo.
