With a fake ID? He illegally purchased a giant machine gun lol, nothing to do with buying a shotgun. Only reason I could see him doing this is because something has happened to his family, either Lydia or phoenix boy got tired of Walt's shit and did something with his family in an attempt to get him back to cooking. Not really sure what's going to happen for sure, I'm very excited to see how they play it out .

He's probably a wanted criminal in New Mexico, and is in disguise. It's his 52nd birthday, so probably only a few months after the events of S5E9. We know he's on chemotherapy now, so I doubt he can grow his hair back like that. Plus his neighbour is terrified of him.

Funny story. My gf is covering a story about this guy who was buying a house short sale / as is. He was in the process of buying the house (decent neighborhood) and the agent who was selling it to him has this system set up where he moves people into it for like 2-3 months in order to prove it's livable and there are no problems (seems kind of weird since I've never heard of this but this is exactly what happened). During that time the neighbors kept seeing all these fancy cars pulling in and out of the driveway at all hours. They told the media they think these people were cooking meth while they were in the house. They used some sort of test that can detect amounts of chemical residue and it turns out there were shit tons of chemical residue from making meth haha. The guy who was purchasing the house asked him about it and the seller and his crew disappeared.

Her and the other reporters at work love breaking bad so this story is awesome. Pretty much the same idea as Walt and Jessie "bombing" houses. Brilliant.
