just wondered if anyone here reads Andy Greenwald's reviews and recaps of TWD, they are pretty hilarious but towards the end you could tell the show was really getting on his nerves.
still, i think he's the best recapper.

So many filler episodes leading up to a damn war, and we don't even get one. That is what we call fail.
They keep letting people live, and bites them in the ass later, is also fail.
A happy note? The ending blows, season 4 better be as good as season 1
This, a thousand times over, this.
they took the shitty way out and had the Gov kill everyone when we pretty much deserved some sort of spectacle in the finale, especially after 6 episodes of Rick doin' stuff and thangs and shots of ghost Lori.
season one was the best because you could feel there was some sort of surprise lurking ahead, that there was always danger around the corner and anyone could be eaten up. plus you had a great locale in downtown/midtown Atlanta. Now its all countryside and farms, while i get budget and timing concerns about locations, it would be nice to see a city again.
i haven't read the books, nor do i intend to, but i have spoiled the show by reading the wiki page on TWD comic and seeing whats next. its not ideal for me, but seeing how the show has taken so little from the source (i think), i hope they can continue and maybe throw some more survival horror in there instead of cheap morality stories, but i guess after all those dead walkers in seasons 1-3 its not exactly interesting to see them die anymore...

btw who is the new showrunner now?
