Figured they would keep the govenor around a bit longer. He'll revamp and re-appear next season. They need to have a crazy twist like Carl going rogue or something.

Next season there better be a massacre...governor shows up with a new army and unleashes hell on the prison. this time with an actual tank like in the books.
