There are different levels of Infinity. As you pointed out 0-1 is infinite but doesn't have 5. However the many worlds theory isn't a 0-1 level of Infinity, it is the largest possible Infinity.

Ricks run into Ricks. It's inevitable that some will cooperate in some circumstances due to infinite personalities and such. In an infinite number of Universes this will lead to a civilization.
Not all Ricks are geniuses and not all Ricks are scientists or have portal guns. It sounds like you don't really understand what infinite Universes really means for the different Ricks.

Also this infinite does not have the mentioned "between 0 and 1" type parameters.

I liked this episode a lot. One thing I truly love about R&M is that they can have a very serious, plot advancing episode like we saw last week with Evil Morty taking over the new organization then do a 180* and have a funny, less serious episode like this one. Keeps things fresh IMO.
