Oberyn’s death condemns Tyrion, but the night before he is to be executed, he is freed from his prison cell by his brother Jaime and a reluctant Varys. During their escape, Jaime reveals that their father made him lie about Tysha being a prostitute, and that she was just a peasant girl who had genuinely loved Tyrion.

Tyrion sees this admission as an unforgivable betrayal and abandons Jaime, promising retribution on Jaime, Tywin and Cersei. He also torments Jaime by telling his brother of Cersei's repeated infidelities, and falsely claims responsibility for Joffrey's death.

Before leaving the Red Keep, Tyrion visits his father’s room and, finding Shae in his bed, strangles her. He then confronts his father, demanding he tell him what became of Tysha. Tywin tells Tyrion that she went “wherever whores go.” Tyrion then slays his father in fury and escapes.[38] He flees across the Narrow Sea to an unknown destination chosen by Varys. After his escape, Cersei offers a lordship for any that brings her Tyrion."

The next episode will focus on things outside of the trial. The trial by combat will not happen until episode 7 titled the mountain and the viper.
Can't wait until Tyrion finds out that lannisters don't shit gold. That is going to be a wonderful episode, will most likely be the finale.

Man, the look of pure hatred on tyrion's eyes sent a shiver down my spine. That performance was just outstanding, he deserves an award.

Someone Tyrion fell in love with. It's part of Tywin's crusade to ruin Tyrion's life. Remember during the trial he said that he was on trial for being a dwarf? his father has been cruel his entire life, Tysha was part of it. Tyrion fell in love with her, she was a common girl, not a whore. But Tywin had Jamie lie about her.



She genuinely loved him though.

Np. I try not to post massive spoilers unless someone says something that is wrong or the episode has already come to pass and someone wants back story. While I did mention a very big plot device, it would only be understood by someone who read the book. Juke actually posted what I was talking about. So don't look at it if you want to be surprised.

It is exactly what happens, the only thing I hope slightly alter for the tv show is tyrions vow of retribution on Jamie, who is one of my favoured characters!
