Hmm not too sure it could be either.. I think it probably has something to do with creating hybrids because when he gave Elena his blood to fight the werewolf toxin (or whatever it is) he said he could still have some use for her.. I don't know if he knew that the guy was one of the 5 when he gave her the blood though. I can't remember I could be wrong

yw and yeah, I agree. Remember in the last season when they were at that motel and she was kissing Damon. It seems like she doesn't know what she wants and hasn't made up her mind. Now that Damon is going to teach her the ways of feeding without going overboard and killing, I suspect she'll be drawn to him even more.

i still dont get why that dude in episode 1 of this season blew up concil with vervaine at the end of the episode.. at first i thought he was somehow trying to turn all the council into vampires/werewolves?

Damnit, I read the very first part of this post earlier as soon as you posted it and I didn't think it would be about the new episode so soon. Ended up getting spoiled about the college professor being another hunter. Next time I'm not going to check this thread until after I watch the episode.

I thought it was a great episode though. It was so good that it made time fly. The episode ended and it seemed like it was only 10 mins long and not 40 mins. That's how you know when a show is good, when it keeps your attention so good that time flies like that.

This cure thing sounds interesting too. It would suck though if they found the cure and then gave it to the powerful vampires like Klaus and killed them off.

What I'm more interested in is who the heck re-created the 5? Is it a destiny type thing where you are pre-selected to become one of the 5 when the "5" is no longer a "5"?

I think it's passed down. They dont live forever like vampires. But Jeremy is gonna be a hunter soon I have a feeling . Cause the whole mystic fall group the ppl Elena hangs out with has one of each character . A vampire , werewolf, witch, and a hunter which will soon be Jeremy. He's gonna kill a vampire soon and those marks will appear on him probably

I feel sorry for Rebecca. She's mean and runs everyone off and then she has no one and she's all sad and alone and just wants someone to like her. Then she has Klaus who is constantly belittling her and talking shit to her and just making her feel like shit. She tries to make it up to the people that she's hurt but they won't forgive her. Then Klaus goes and kills her. I think she's great. She's hot and I'd love to fuck her and go out with her. Matt is a fag for not going out with her imo.
