But your justification for everything Ani knows is probably very similar to why Rey knows what she knows.

Let's just ignore the fact that she's obviously a skywalker for a minute, even though this should be reason enough for her skills you keep crying about.

She's obviously scavenged all her life, has constant contact with space ship wrecks, droids, people of all trades (assuming the planet is diverse and various races use the pawn shop as a means of business)
This would account for her knowledge of ship parts? How they operate? Picking up on various languages? You're making assumptions she's done nothing her whole life.

The planet is obviously hostile, she's had to learn to protect herself since day dot. (rival scavengers, poachers etc)

I just saw the movie today! Enjoyed it! I think it will be pretty awesome having a girl jedi in these movies. Would rather watch daisy wield a light saber than a dude with some type of no-personality-disorder. Sad to see han die, going to really miss his smart ass comments lol.

Kylo has just as much relation to Anakin as Rey does. Somehow even with some degree of training, and being able to freeze a blaster bolt in mid air, granted injured, he gets his ass kicked by a straight up untrained noob. When uninjured he's still unable to interrogate her.

OK not the point I was making but I'll answer anyway.

Much of his weakness comes from his own fear and inner conflict. Rey even says "you're afraid, you're afraid you won't be able to become as strong as Darth vader" so uninjured or not, that's why he was unable to win that interrogation. When he tells han "I'm being torn apart" he wasn't lying. He tells the vader mask "I feel it again, help me" shortly after learning his father had rey and the droid on the falcon. This whole story will centre on Kylos redemption. The next film will see him wreck Rey and be very ruthless. Then the third film she'll triumph and he'll no longer be dark. You have to understand kylo is not a sith master yet, he still has training he needs to do. Snoke says this at the end "get kylo ren and leave the base, he will begin his next level of training"

As for the fight he loses at the end. Take all of that into consideration, then add the fact that he was blasted directly in the hip with chewies bow (which was shown to be extremely powerful several times throughout, on purpose) then add the fact that rey is not a 'complete noob' as you put it. This is why he was unable to win. He wasn't even completely wrecked, he just lost.

So ani having an implied back story is fine but Rey having one is unacceptable?

How did Luke learn to fly? We were just told he is the best pilot and you were fine with that?

What about between episode 1 and 2? We saw zero training yet we are to believe ani is one of the strongest Jedi alive despite seeing no training?
