I will look forward to see'ing that day come if JSP is still in existence.

Outside of that, this is a forum promoting shows based on our opinion, as people we give our opinion. Technology has
changed over many years, thus giving us the opportunity to post our opinions outside of using a pen and paper, so, when you
are 48 years old, you MAY still be using forums like this to express those opinions, or maybe you will just use monitors and
voice them in another form of forum. At the end of the day, stating to shoot yourself at that age for using technology to voice
your opinion is rather pathetic and inconsequential.

Not trying to be an Ass... but your description of their so called qualms is basically pointing out your own realism... oh wait... it is not realism is it, it is emotional feelings and expectations. Either way... there are still 4 episodes that need to be revealed to satisfy us all... including myself.

Why the emotional reaction with shows though? Why be so emotional you can't just let go and pick up another product if it starts to stink? Why the heavy emotional investment in mere entertainment? It's just something to do when you're bored, it's not something real.

i don't understand why people say it's so bad. It feels completely average to me. They are butchering the story to keep it faster paced and we still get casual fans complaining:

that it's too boring? Would you rather Jaime do his offhand training with Ilyn Payne so we sit through a 2minute scene with no dialogue? Did you want them to introduce Quentyn Martell and Faegon as competitors for the throne at the same time they introduced all the new Dornish characters? As if casual fans aren't already overwhelmed with the amount of chars being introduced.

Game of Thrones isn't supposed to "feel completely average". Its supposed to be the best fucking show on earth. The first 4 season were at least.

Killing Tywin was such a mistake... maybe a little bit biased since he was my favourite character but still. The only character I find interesting in GoT these days is Stanis Baratheon...

Rest are meh.

If I ever would because of a TV show it would definitely be after the death of Ned Stark and Prince Oberyn. The former made me butthurt for 3 seasons, the latter left in me total shock.

When Tywin Lannister died my reaction was literally "oh for fuck sake, I give up this show".

They dun goofed imo. Lets just kill every great, interesting character and leave you guys a show with boring ass pussyboys.

Except Stannis, whom I know will die soon because he's obviously too bad ass to be alive for GoT.

 I don't think he will die in season 5, maybe in 6.

The show didnt choose to kill off Tywin, he is dead in the books and certain events depend on his death. There was no choice as you will come to see very soon.

when i said average, i meant compared to the first 6 eps of the previous GoT seasons

I seriously think that people are basing their perception of the series on those huge dramatic moments, which mainly happened in eps 8 and 9 of each season, and feeling s5 is a letdown compared to those.

Well I was certainly intruiged by Season 4 from the very first episode. Pretty sure I was with season 2 & 3 too.

Not season 1 though, as it was the very first season I didn't know any names, places, or lore what so ever so it took me about 5 episodes to NOT find it boring.
