I miss the first season. When they focused on the zombie outbreak as a whole...you felt like the show was going to answer questions about how it happened, how it's cured, the future of the human race, etc...The past two seasons have just been about the now. The story-lines are smaller and feel less important than in the first season. And I'm also tired of having the same setting for an entire season. The farm got boring after 13 episodes. The prison/Governor's town is boring after 14 episodes...move on...
The third season has so many filler episodes. They make what can be shown in 20 minutes an hour long and call it an episode.
The Walking Dead has gone downhill fast. Can't relate to the characters at all. The zombies were once a very scary and suspenseful part of the show. Now everyone just goes plop plop like they're a marksman. The only thing that seems to break this cycle is when someone dies, but the character is so inhuman so it's not a big deal.
The people who are alive know how to not fear/handle zombies so they aren't a problem. Now the real threat is what is being fought, other people trying to survive and fighting for resources. Because that is the real enemy in a zombie apocalypse. Because humans are not mindless drones.
