I think Season 3 is the best one so far. It has brilliant character development and tension building. The whole Woodbury thing added a huge dynamic.

Constantly killing zombies gets stale. I mean, they got good at it, so the process is pretty autonomous now. Now we are observing the consequences of a zombie apocalypse, which is people fighting over small territory, or people turning into sociopathic nut jobs based on events.

...

and using zombies as weapons against each other.

If you don't care about dialogue, character development, or good writing, and just want mindless bloody action, you should go watch Dexter or True Blood.

can't take you serious any longer if you are saying Dexter is mindless bloody action. There is so much more in that show then that.

but seriously. I love this show

Well I respect that. I know a lot of people give the show high regard, and that's great. And I enjoy Dexter for its entertainment. But I personally don't consider it very well written at all. The characters are one dimensional, and Dexter's narration spoon feeds things to you like you're ten years old. Sometimes they shoot for some in depth theming, but all that ever amounts to is Saturday Morning Cartoon monologues. Sometimes the bland, predictable writing turns me off, but then I remember that I'm watching it for the shallow entertainment value. Plus they kinda have me on the hook because they keep making me think they're going to finally nail the bastard, but the writers always take some warped pity on him and give him some miracle escape. I always know they're going to do it too, but some part of me hopes that they will come to their senses. It does get taxing after a while, following a monstrous character for whom it is completely impossible to sympathise with.

The only time I feel that the govenor catching up to andrea was bs was the building complex.

He knew she was going to the prison, so he kept on a b-line to it like Andrea would. When he loses her in the thicket but finds her in that complex irritates me because she knew he was now after her and close, and at that point she should have deviated from the b-line but it seems she did not.

Him catching her at the prison, is not a surprise. as he knew where she was going and he is fueled by insanity... the best fuel so it is not wonder he caught up.

But taking that many walkers down does confuse me because last e saw of him in the building he was in a corner.

so unrealistic...
how can the governor find her time after time. She could have gone any direction, any building.. but he keeps finding her.

Ever see Friday the 13th? Maybe the governor is related to jason

Meha this season is indeed pretty good. You can not over analyze it without finding a butt load of flaws though.

LOL@ anyone thinking this show has better writing than Dexter... TWD hardly even shadows Dexter. Especially when Dexter was still new.

First three seasons of TWD and it seems to be hit and miss with the writing. No reason for them not to be able to keep things fresh still...

You can over analyze almost any movie/tv show and find numerous flaws.

There arent alot of flaws only people to ignorant to put the pieces together that were not spoon fed to them. Like these idiots that wonder how the governor kept finding andrea. He had a vehicle she did not. He could cover more ground and faster. Earlier in the season we saw woodberry has maps of the surrounding areas they made themselves. The governor leads woodberry and goes outside the walls often. He knew where she was going. It makes perfect sense he would be able to know the most likely route she would take. Sometimes i think you are all fucking stupid.
