im honestly not the biggest starwars head but i did see the movie. idk if my mind is somewhere else but the whole movie felt like a way to understand why war in general exists. just take any 2 factions/countries idc about your beliefs but just to bring some labels here ill just say sith/jedi = usa/islamic extremists (isis/al qaeda) whichever one being the other i dont care. we're all humans kylo being someone like the president/osama bin laden leader is sick of the vicious cycle of war and just wants to end it all but with him being ontop (honestly it could be a bad thing or it could be a good thing, idk anything bout kylos lore is he like an adolf hitler kind of guy or is he cool?) then rei who is fighting for freedom for all.

rei chooses not to end it so kylo pushes on with war leading to a *pointless* crusade about sith vs jedi even though in the end we're all just humans.
honestly i dont even know what im saying. movies just confusing in a way like i dont get the whole point of the army fleet that kylo has or the rebels. it seems like its really just up to kylo and rei.
like kylo represents one prohpet of one religion and rei another prophet. the sith army fleet agrees with kylo and rebels agree with rei so they fight with them but if rei and kylo just decided to be cool and not war.

kylo went all emo dramatic with the come with me and we'll rule, like it seemed pretty gay but honestly i think i agree with it. theyre fighting beef for people way before them for no reason. theyre young and it should all be in the past. but kylo shouldn't have to be all selfish about it.
im not going to rewatch it but if i did maybe some things would make more sense.

i just feel like the movie really isnt all that good but i do like shit taking place in space i just wish it wouldnt require such a big budget to make it happen so we could see other movies besides already known blockbusters like starwars or the alien series. the story didnt seem that great. i personally really like villians and tbh this movie didnt really have any. yes snoke was there but was he? he couldve just not been in the movie to begin with and it still wouldve made just as much sense. like what is the force? is it just hope? and kylo and ren are 50% shareholders of this said hope so they both need to agree on it for it kind of just felt like a shitty live action studio ghibli movie that takes place in space.

pretty decent movie. Very straight forward plot and story. Enjoyed it

I liked how snoke was killed like a noob and the luke hologram was cool beside that the movie was entertaining but not a strong star wars movie but a good sci fi one
