valid points....except the whole part missing about being in love with ygritte, plus that the wildlings are probably the only ones that have some sense left, because of that whole white walkers thing that everyone else kinda forgot about. i had a feeling all this time that jon would still defect back to the nights watch after his whole beyond the wall expedition, i just didnt expect so soon; i really wanted to see more of their adventures because that was a pretty interesting storyline.

Jon never "defected" anywhere, he was always part of the Nights Watch. Quohorin commanded him to secret himself among the wildlings, and he obeyed. The story he gave Mance about the Walkers thing was the only honest story he could come up with (honest in that he genuinely was horrified and disillusioned by the Watch when seeing it), but he was still lying about it having persuading him to abandon the Watch. Falling in love with Ygritte wasn't part of the plan, it's just something he did, much to his regret. (In his PoV in the books, he was immensely conflicted between keeping his vows and abiding Ygritte, since Quohorin told him to "do as they do". And yes, he genuinely fell in love. He was even really upset and torn after he escaped them.) It wasn't easy for him, but he knew in his heart that he was always going to ditch them eventually (including Ygritte), and he may as well not have to kill someone in the process.

I'm pretty sure the other wedding will the the 9th episode for the 4th Season (I hope).

For the Season 3 end cliffhanger, I am kinda hoping they go with the same epilogue Book 3 ended with - the first appearance of Lady Stoneheart. Pushing it up the timeline works just fine since we have already completed everything before it in that specific plot line. Any of the other "wow moments" would require more buildup to get to than we have time for in just 1 last episode.


The next wedding will have to be long before that. I think we will be done with Book 3 completely by the midpoint of Season 4. But you are probably right about them wanting to find an "epic showdown" moment for S4E9 since they had one in E9 of the first 3 seasons. Deciding what it is will be tricky though. I'm sure Season 4 will be crawling through Books 4 and 5 since their events happen side-by-side, so it could be a big moment from either book. The show producers really have a lot of flexibility on which plot lines they want to develop first as they go through Seasons 4 and 5.

I think Season 5 ep9 will be the "little" one man/woman parade in kings landing. Al though it isn't much of a "wow"moment.
Unless it's "that" arresting of that person event

And yes I agree, Lady Stoneheart would be a "OMFGWTFSHIT" moment for a lot of viewers.

I fucking hate Catelynn and the only redeeming factor in the red wedding was the fact that she was dead and I wouldn't have to see her anymore throughout the show.

Fuck you, George R.R. Martin. You are the reason why we can't have nice things.

And now I have to put up with that stupid bitch as "Lady Stoneheart" in the show even after she dies....

I hate Cat too, but Stoneheart is a completely different character IMO. Stoneheart is a one-dimensional non-POV that merely serves a simple purpose in the plot. Basically, she's like Ilyn Payne. Not alot there to hate or like for me.

I like the fact that she can't speak. Just screechy raspy noises while she points a finger at you XD

Chills. All in all I'm pretty hyped for next ep, looking at the preview. Might see some good Arya action (in the preview it looks like she has Needle back, aww yiss), and Nightfort tale of the Rat Cook.
