Hitler ran on a so called "socialist" blue collar workers party and was elected too, that's what they were trying for here imo. 'Nazi' banners, and the night of the long knives and all, etc etc.

This was some amazing story-telling, and honestly... the writing, on point.

The humor was spread out perfectly, damn.

Great episode. Had to wait a day to watch it. One of the best of the season & series.

I suppose if he goes that direction now that he's in power, then I would have to agree with him being evil. But if the audience is supposed to agree with our Rick that the citadel was bad before and now it's in total chaos, I don't see why a ruthless leader taking over has to be viewed as a bad step. Kinda reminds me of Pablo Escobar .. he was able to do the Colombian governments job better than they could (but the govt cheating by bringing America into it)



Genghis Khan did a lot of brutal things as well, but I wouldn't call him evil. His goals were noble, his conquests served to make the world a better place in the longrun and he is one of my idols.

Loved the ep, but the whole "Ricks form a democratic society and some work lowest level jobs, some run the place" seems like bullshit. Just that one guy opposing it? Rick does whatever he wants, even if he's from other universe. There wouldn't be tens of thousands of Ricks just doing street sweeping or working in McDonalds.
