Id rather my entertainment not push political agendas down my throat. The whole "Rey is suddenly and mysteriously a bad ass" needs to be explained in the next movie. As of now it feels like they're trying to compensate in a fantasy universe for how women are treated in reality. If a woman character is stronger than any male that is perfectly fine with me, as long as it feels natural to the story and not forced, pardon the pun, by political correctness.

I liked the movie, but Rey should not have kicked Kylo's ass so early on in this trilogy. She should have narrowly escaped, as Luke did in the original trilogy. She literally just found out the force wasn't a myth, and can control people's minds, force pull a light saber right past a trained sith, then kicked said bad guy's ass in a saber battle after turning one on for the first time ever. This is a legit complaint regardless if you like it or not.

No it is not, you clearly didn't pay any attention to the movie. Read the thread.

Your post means nothing because you forgot about kylo being severely injured.....

Also, why is it so hard to believe that someone can pick up the force quickly?.....how long it takes other force users is irrelevant. We don't live in the Star Wars universe, so how would we know? There's no "set time" that it takes someone to accomplish force powers.

Finally, her gender is complete irrelevant. Why can't a girl thrive in a movie without sexist comments? Liam Nesson avoids death in every movie except one and at incredible odds.

You're right. This was basically a girl power movie. Feminist agenda is blatant as fuck.

Oh I'm sorry. Still doesn't matter. There are hundreds of movies where men dodge bullets for an hour and come out on top against all odds.

Well considering men are the majority of combat roles and jobs in society, and they're naturally stronger. It makes sense for most men to be the a majority of action heroes. Also the majority of action movie fans are men, the majority of Star Wars fans are men.
