Beau Hunks (1931)

This Laurel & Hardy short has its moments, but it leans heavily on a flimsy setup and stretches a thin premise farther than it can comfortably go. Stan’s heartbreak and the duo’s sudden leap into the French Foreign Legion offer a promising start, yet the gags feel repetitive and lack the sharper timing seen in their stronger work. While the exaggerated melodrama delivers a few laughs, much of the humor falls back on familiar patterns rather than fresh ideas. The performers’ charm keeps it watchable, but the overall result feels uneven—more mildly amusing than genuinely memorable.

Yeah awhile ago though. I remember Ed Helms, Skyler Gisondo and the younger kid decently.
A google search says Hemsworth has 10 minutes of screen time. That's not bad, but just putting him and Chevy Chase first is interesting! I know they're the bigger names

Yeah that is primarily why I put them up is because they’re the most recognizable. And my son is a big Thor fan. The water faucet references he kept making had me about to fall out lol.
