beast was a good luthor, seen a few mcu actors move over to DC.

Se7en (1995)

Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motives.

Taking place in a nameless city, Se7en follows the story of two homicide detectives tracking down a sadistic serial killer who chooses his victims according to the seven deadly sins. Brad Pitt stars as Detective David Mills, a hopeful but naive rookie who finds himself partnered with veteran Detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman). Together they trace the killer's every step, witnessing the aftermath of his horrific crimes one by one as the victims pile up in rapid succession, all the while moving closer to a gruesome fate neither of them could have predicted.

Kandahar (2023)

A CIA operative and his translator flee from special forces in Afghanistan after exposing a covert mission.

CIA operative Tom Harris succeeded in his Iran mission but later on got his identity exposed. Now the agent has to escape from Afghanistan. He is pursued by mercenaries, war lords and elite special forces of the enemy. Getting to Kandahar is the only chance for salvation. Here, either allied helicopters or a bullet with his name will be waiting for the hero.

American Assassin (2017)

After the death of his girlfriend at the hands of terrorists, Mitch Rapp is drawn into the world of counterterrorism, mentored by tough-as-nails former U.S. Navy S.E.A.L. Stan Hurley.

Twenty three-year-old Mitch lost his parents to a tragic car accident at the age of fourteen, and his girlfriend to a terrorist attack just as they were engaged. Seeking revenge, he is enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy as a black ops recruit. Kennedy then assigns Cold War veteran Stan Hurley to train Mitch. Together they will later on investigate a wave of apparently random attacks on military and civilian targets. The discovery of a pattern in the violence leads them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent to stop a mysterious operative intent on starting a world war in the Middle East.

Long Shot (2017)

When Juan Catalan is arrested for a murder he didn't commit, he builds his case around raw footage from the popular TV show, Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000).

In August 2003, Juan Catalan was arrested for the murder of Martha Puebla in Los Angeles County, California. Puebla had been a witness at the hearing of gangster Mario Catalan (Juan's brother) a few days prior which he had attended. Police officers arrested him, as he fit the facial composite a witness described. He was cleared after footage from Curb Your Enthusiasm revealed that he was at a Dodgers game, and a phone call traced him to Dodger Stadium before the murder.
