Regarding the books, in ADWD Sansa is still in the Vale and instead her BFF from AGOT, Jeyne Poole, is presented as Arya Stark by the Boltons and married to Ramsay. He rapes her, forces beastiality on her, has Theon give her oral sex before raping her, etc.

Is it just me or is this the worst season of GoT thus far? Maybe I've "matured" as a person, after all this is the first GoT season I'm viewing as a uni student working and studying full time (+ gym) which means I don't have anywhere near as much spare time as I did previously. Time spent on computer has gone from like 10 hours/day to <1 hour/day

With that being said, I remember literally counting down the days and hours between each episode, feeling a huge space of emptiness every time an episode was over, and I'd watch the episode the very second it was aired (uploaded) on HBO Nordic (Scandinavian app for HBO content)

With season 5? Well I just watched episode 6 today, on a tuesday. Episode 5 I didn't watch until sunday and Episode 4 I watched on thursday that week. I'm actually forgetting that GoT episodes are released. I'm relatively stoked for the next episode to come out, but I could easily wait 2 weeks. Last year I would died from excitement by now.

Disappointed with the lack of Stannis in episode 6


Which brings up another subject... I think GoT died along with Tywin Lannister. There's nothing interesting anymore. Everything in King's Landing has gone to shit now that Tywin's gone, Arya's boring as fuck, Sansa/Boltons are boring, Dnaeries fucking sucks as usual but Stannis? Holy shit what a bad ass motherfucker.

i agree kings landing died with Tywin, he was my favorite character but the end was coming to him and im not sad to see him go... i am really enjoying Sersi atm the shit with Tyrels was epic

It hasn't lived up to the high drama of the top episodes (8s and 9s) from previous seasons, but I think your perception of the show overall might be too strongly based on its best moments.

So far, this season has felt about average compared to the first 6 eps of any other season.
