Pretty firestorm is supposed to be a superhero though and not a villain.

he is a hero

rather a hero with random villainous traits. kind of like arrow.

It seems reasonable and legit, and plus hunter zoloman (dr wells) had a relation/connection to gorilla grodd just like in the show and comics.

if u rewatch the scene again, reverse flash says dr wells we finally meet. meaning they never met before.. which probably means they are 2 different versions of reverse flash.

dr wells being zoom aka hunterzoloman and RF in the force field is professor zoom aka eobard thawn.

2 different eras of flash joining up

Harrison Wells is Hunter Zoloman/Zoom......The Reverse Flash that showed up in the finale is Eobard/Professor Zoom......Wells lost a majority of his speed force...and wants to make Barry a better Flash.....like Zoloman did for Wally......Zoloman was the successor Flash of Thawne...and Thawne realizes that due to his time travel capabilities......As a result, Thawne is infuriated by the sight of Wells because he assumed the position of Reverse Flash without his permission.......hence him attacking him in an instant....My theory is...There are two Reverse Flashes.......Zoloman lost his speed force.....and Thawne is just there.....As for Barry's mother's death...that had to be Thawne and Barry duking it out while Time Traveling....back to that moment
