The ending was fitting. It's been building up to that exact thing as Jax realizes the similarities between him and father.

jax didnt screw over SoA... he set them in the clear by killing off the last of the enemies. if he wanted to screw them over, he wouldnt have asked the DA to turn off the recorder.

jax killed a king... the irish blown up there club house when there was 100 + people in there for much less

That ending.... man. The song choice, the symbolism and the final appearance of the homeless woman, just fucking brilliant. Was the only death I didn't get teary over, it was very well done and Jax finally did what he was set out to do. He ended the guns, he ended the drugs and he ended the violence and his kids are no longer stuck in that life. Man, was a great journey.

Also, making a grim bastard into a son, that was poetry.

All those lose ends tied up and it didn't feel rushed at all.

Jax killed a king, but no one knows outside of the club but the guy he let live and he has no reason to tell on him. Why? because he was already living on borrowed time due to his double dealings, there won't be any blowback for that. The only issue the club will see is for making a grim bastard into a full member. And that's something they'll get over because the charter rules says each individual charter has control over their member composition.

Also, that was the last of marks' men right there at the court house, did you forget all the clean up he did with the niners? they control what marks used to control. Pay attention, seriously.

the way i thought jax was going to go down when he went back in to that area where he killed the king.... he was going to have them kill him right there and tell the other kings jax killed him and they killed jax... like clay was killed... o well jax went out ruining the club

Clay ruined the club long before jax took the chair. jax brought the club together after something that should of very well ended the redwood original chapter.

and the assets being sold off to bankroll the club a new start..............

from episode 1 he was trying to get the club away from guns because of all the heat they had. Clay was the one pushing the club so deep into it that the only way he left out was bloody.

Jax knew about the IRA heat coming and so does the belfast charter. this wasn't some spur of the moment choice to kill a king and the entire club knew it. this was their way out of the IRA bullshit and into a new gun supplier that owes them rather than just being puppets.

and with peace coming back to the club they will be too strong to take on head on otherwise you also have to take on all their alliance as well.

Had he killed a king from the start they would of simply been killed because they didn't have the power to fight the IRA head on. This is simply when it could happen without it being suicide for the club.

the focal point was jax doing what he could while he could for his family and his club. it's not a fairy tale series....bad shit happens and all they can do is make the best out of a bad situation.

well the way i see it they are dead... IRA are not stupid they going to know what happened.. seeing how they found out in the first place he was selling guns that where not the IRAs

assets that where sold went to wendy and the kids... the house and car shop, Soa got the porn shop and whorehouse

and SoA is not out of guns... the IRA has been powerful through out this full show now they just going to back down now? they all most took out all of SoA by bombing there club house and forced them to buy guns. IRA sells guns world wide and they never going to give up northern cali gun sells.

IRA is an army and the niners or Soa wouldnt stand a chance trying to start a war with them

so whats the rest of SoA going to do now? run there porn shop and whorehouse? they are not going to beable to keep drugs out of charming anymore... the SoA in belfast are going to get crushed and they will fallow over to state side and destroy what ever they have left

i have to agree with you on one point, there is no way the IRA won't find out the sons are responsible for killing a king. they have way too much power. i was pretty disappointed with how they ended that part. other than that, i thought the finale was great and im overall pleased with the show. going to start watching it from the beginning again. might even buy the DVD set.
