Tyler died because klaus died - it has nothing to do with Elena.

also get a clue please, the scene where Damon compelled Elena was a flashback to before Elena's parents died and before Elena even met Stefan.

and yes this was the Season finale.

The whole bonnie switching Tyler and Klaus thing really threw me for a loop. Poor Tyler is dead now and Klaus lives on in Tyler's body.
The Damon flashback was a shocker.
It's about time they make Elena a vampire, so much deviation from the books while not the greatest read do offer some interesting storylines.
The kitsune would've be interesting to explore with Damon going completely bloodthirsty.

Lol... the guy has +170 years of experience and can't think of just rip off the security belt of Elena before getting Matt to the surface so she can swim up by herself? Fucking brilliant Stefan! And i still can't get laric trhowing Rebecka like she's nothing but yet Damon is able to overpower him when he tries to stake him... god this show has a lot of inconsistency...

And they wrote off Joseph Morgan... and transferred Klaus persona in Michael Trevino... seriously?

Oh and... where the fuck is Kol? He has like 4 lines in the entire series...

Damon was able to overpower Alaric because Elena was dying...get a clue please...not to mention...it doesn't take much to push someone...

oh just to clarify that, Elena and Alaric are linked, therefore Alaric was getting weaker by the second

Originals are supposed to be so much superior yet Damon is shown to be stronger than Rebecka in the scene.

I just find it weird.

And I don't see why Alaric would weaken over time... he dies when Elena dies. period. No weaken period in between... I just don't see how.

I'm not saying I'll ditch the show but they need to get their facts straight. Damon & Stefan would be SO dead if it were remotely realistic. But there's vampires and shit so I guess realism is not that important in their minds.

I already somewhat saw a spoiler so I rushed to scroll down to this message box so nothing else gets ruined for me; my last comment was "seems to Buffy-esque, but worse" and I still sort of feel that way, I'm also starting to see way too similarities with Tru Blood and think this is just a Tru Blood that's able to be played on basic cable, but for whatever reason I'm hooked and found myself downloading season 2 a few nights ago. A lot of scenes even have my pointing and laughing at my screen but I like it... it's a love/hate relationship.
