Arena (1989)

The substance

Really fucked up and gross, but it held my attention pretty well most of the runtime. Interesting concept and it has a distinct style. Both leads are good, especially moore

But the end just goes off the rails in the goofiest way imaginable. Insanely stupid and feels so out of place in the rest of the movie. The last ~30 minutes do enough damage to take it from a ~7/10 to about a 4/10

Overall it was a good movie, 8/10

Boys from the blackstuff - Shop thy neighbour. A miniseries really, but every episode is like a movie. Quite dark, but very realistic.

Transformers One

Easily the best transformers movie that’s been made, it was quite good
