Alright I’ll start by saying the parts of the movie where godzilla is fucking shit up are awesome. Sadly, these are few and far between

Every single other aspect of the movie is fucking dogshit. Awful characters, way over the top anime-esque reactions constantly, pretty bad cgi by modern standards, a truly retarded ‘theme’, the single most pathetic cop out I’ve ever seen in a movie, and anything else you can think of that would make a movie terrible. I really can’t think of a single positive aspect of this movie other than the very limited action

One of the best ever

I have no idea, I’ve never been so confused in my life about the positive reception of a movie. I usually am all for mindless monster action movies and I still thought this was fucking garbage
