yeah newer megneto used their own weapon against them and wiped out the planet, covenant was so bad i was cheering for the bad guy and he wins in the end.

That shit was way too long. There might have been a decent story hidden in there somewhere, but there was an unfathomable amount of boring ass filler. The movie could have legitimately been 2 hours shorter and it would be dramatically improved
