"Perfect Day" (1929)

Plans for a nice Sunday picnic seemed doomed even before Stanley and Oliver and their families get into the car. First the boys get into a fight and destroy all the sandwiches. Then the car itself keeps acting up, requiring repeated exits and reboardings by the boys, their wives and grouchy, gout-ridden Uncle Edgar. A brick-throwing tiff with a neighbor threatens to escalate into general mayhem until the local parson strolls by. They finally manage to get underway, steering toward an innocent-looking mud puddle in the street.

Saint Maud

Perhaps over hyped for myself. The acting was good, but the story and the way it played out wasn't very enticing to me. Not much for horror, more drawn out suspense with an underwhelming climax.

Honestly all of them were pretty mid. Kinda fun in their own ways but definitely not stuff I'd rewatch given the chance. I think LW2 is better than LW1 tho.

Godfather 3

Not great, not terrible. Not worthy of sharing title of its predecessors. The cinematography was notably worse and cheesey at times. Main character Michael acting out of character before plot elements happen which can explain it. Really poor acting from a lead which is expected from nepotism. Very odd plot elements at time, especially at the end.

All that being said, it had a few scenes that were well put together. Also, the actor and character of Vincent was done well.
