Amsterdam (2022 hbo) - reaaaaal fuckin bad. Honestly there's just too many "stars" in this movie. It becomes a distraction and not all of them play their roles well so it's even worse. Some of it is interesting and it's easy to care about and then other stuff is off putting or flat out boring or dumb.

Red Sparrow (2018) - honestly kinda dope. A little slow sometimes and takes a while to get to the point. Little plot holes here and there but overall interesting enough that I liked it. I think I'm biased with lady hero spy films but this movie goes pretty hard. Jlaw is hot and there's some brutal scenes that she and others pull off well.

Emancipation

Really expected a much more brutal movie. I feel like the lack of ‘brutalness’ hurt the film. Without showing those details and horrors it’s just a guy running away

Profile (2021 hbo) - honestly really annoying, while the story is interesting the entire movie is basically watching someone's computer desktop for 1.5hrs lol...

Kinsey (2004) - genuinely interesting as fuck. Liam Neeson puts on a killer performance, the roles are well acted, the story is dramatized but not in a tacky or annoying way. The hurts feel real the successes and breakthroughs feel meaningful. I think the movie tends to glamorize him vs vilify him but his story is fascinating regardless. Makes me want to pick up a copy of at least one of his books just to see some of the data. I've seen people accuse him of doing some really fucked up experiments on kids but idk how much of that is true without seeing the pages of his book(s) for myself.

Minuscule - French animation movie, very very good for children and for adultes !

Jurassic Wolrd III ... crapiest one since Jurassic Park II ... still enjoyable since i like this serie, but meh disapointed !

Game Night - this is epic ! so funny !

Highlander (1986 hbo) - uhhhh really tacky/campy for a lot of the scenes but still manages to be enjoyable. Sean Connery's character is hilarious. Action is mostly terrible tho which kinda bummed me out. Worth watching just cuz it's such a cultural phenomenon.
