American Movie (1999 downloaded) - Weird but wholesome? Idk how to describe it. There's some great lines in the movie tho. Brings up some very human problems.

The Ramen Girl (2008 downloaded) - Honestly really bad lmao. I think the director styled it after Japanese dramas but it works so fuckin badly xD Brittany Murphy was hot at least but her character is insufferable and the story is retarded.

The Internship (2013 downloaded) - A LOT less retarded than I expected it to be. I will admit that Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn griefed the fuck out of some scenes that are overly retarded where someone should have told them what they were doing wasnt funny. It was pretty mid overall but not unwatchable.

Nashville (1975 download) - Interesting social commentary but I dont think I paid enough attention. Also I have a pretty low emotional investment in the subject matter of country music and the south but even then there's a lot to relate to. Overall a cool movie that I'd be willing to watch a second time.

Thanks for Sharing (2012 download) - Pretty damn good, I'm actually surprised to see it's rated so low on IMDB. Maybe the portrayal of addiction is a little "too real" or something? Or the subject material is too uncomfortable for people? Idk.

Heathers (1988 downloaded) - Based. Wild ride.

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002 downloaded) - Really well done, enjoyed it a lot.

The Mechanic (2011 DL'd) - Story is halfway decent actually. Action is solid. Doesnt do anything really well but it's pretty alright mindless entertainment.

Short Term 12 (2013 DL'd) - Really well done. Pretty heavy hitting but it's well written and acted. There's some weak-ish moments but nothing so bad it ruins the whole movie imo.

Biggest 'Meh' experience of my entire life. So fucking slow and boring!

Where the Crawdads Sing (2022 Netflix) - pretty chill movie. decently acted decent story. sorta a slow burn romance/mystery but i liked it well enough.

Notting Hill (1999 netflix) - ehhhh almost decent for a rom com? some of it's genuinely funny and interesting but the last 30 minutes or so feels like they were trying too hard. julia roberts just annoys me idk why.

The Giver (2014 HBO) - Mostly okay? jeff bridges is super cool in this one even if everyone else is just so-so. idk the ending was giga retarded and there were a few points where plot holes took me out of it. at least it was an interesting premise but im a slut for utopian/dystopian stories so im biased.

Stutz (2022 netflix) - pretty good

The Colony (2021 netflix) - I was only half paying attention but it was almost okay... Some real ugly plot holes and the story doesnt seem to make any progress from start to finish.

Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994 downloaded) - Gotta say it was pretty damn good. Nutty cast and interesting story, dialogue is good, sets and costumes are good. There's some action sequences that have aged alright. Solid overall.

Mute (2018 - netflix) I cant believe how badly rated this movie is rofl. Audiences actually got filtered. It doesnt do everything well and it's not kino but it's certainly better than a lot of shit being put out by hollywood. My biggest personal gripe is that it does a really poor job in some scenes selling a futuristic future. Most everything else is interesting and the story has some great speed bumps where the MC struggles to find the next bit of information. Idk I was shocked at how not shit it was considering the ratings but I guess I can see how some people might not like it? It's not "to the point" and certainly not what a usual Paul Rudd movie enjoyer would like. I think they used Paul Rudds face to sell the movie to potential viewers and they didnt sign up for some fufu romcom or knuckle dragger capeshit. He's not even the protagonist, very manipulative tactic that probably pissed a lot of people off.

"black Adam" more superhero stuff, not as good as the latest Thor movie.
but it was quite alright, 5.5/10
