First of all, take a breath.

"Not only is it Tarantino’s best, it’s like a top 5 movie all time"
Second, sorry I didn't get that from what you said...

1. Pulp Fiction
2. Reservoir Dogs

Then you can create the rest of the list.

Watch True Romance, that’s his best movie by far.

Jackie Brown is a solid movie, but you really liked it more than Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction?

Yes. I will rewatch those two just to be sure but I'm pretty confident I like it better. I'll check out True Romance tho I have it DL'd already.

Edit: watched Day Shift (2022). Pretty dogshit. Snoop Dogg is terrible in it. Side protagonist is insufferable. Action is too much of the same. Way way way too much cheesy dialogue or irrational behavior. There's at least one egregious plot hole. Denzel is good. His daughter is awful too. I wonder if she's related to someone famous. I'd bet on it tbh. Sadly has a good amount of potential but just feels so um... low effort? Idk, I cant put my finger on it.

It comes in and out, but always top 5.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

Weird as fuck movie, but I liked it a lot. The cinematography was fucking brilliant and I don’t think I’ve been as disgusted by anything as I was with that fucking hotdog dimension. I am honestly surprised at the reviews though. Guess I’m just genuinely surprised that an artsy film has such overwhelmingly positive fan reviews, since this seems like the type of movie that’d score 95/60 or worse, like the Card Counter.

Nothing can be rated or ranked, a guy smashing a rat on a trash can is the musical equivalent of Mozart, because some guy on the internet said it’s subjective.

Regardless of how asinine your statement is, my comment obviously reflects my take on his films….. not sure how you missed that.

EEAaO was really fun just to watch. Tons of creative freedom and a movie that takes some risks is such a breath of fresh air in 2022. Card Counter was pretty cool. Main actor in that played his role to perfection 10/10. I can understand how people wouldnt like it that much tho it's pretty off-putting.

True Romance was a banger. Really good overall, I think I'd say that I still liked Jackie Brown better.

Also rewatched Constantine (2005 - on Netflix) and I cannot believe how much I still enjoy this movie. I know it's just average hollywood schlock but it does SO many things right. The story is so fuckin cool, there's some cool problem solving that happens, everyone plays their part well, the ending is great. Ya idk maybe I'm just a sucker but I've probably watched this movie half a dozen times and I'm still not sick of it. I think it's just plain entertaining - in the same category as something like Fast and Furious 1-3. Are they great movies? No. Are they pure entertainment? Fuck yeah.

Broken Flowers (2005) cool movie. Bill Murray did a good job with this one. It's a bit of an odd movie but I liked it quite a bit.

Dayshift. Fun, mindless action. Nothing amazing. Worth at least one watch. Didn't care for franco, the Nazarian Brothers were the best part. Think it would've done better as a mini series with more world building.

My first watch of True Romance, I though 'meh'. Second watch, I loved it. But Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are both still better IMO.
