i think he'll have to pick sides as well. Hopefully he'll see that he's better off w/o merle and what a complete idiot/mad person he truly is. Rick's group accepted Daryl and gave him respect, I think that Merle would just keep being a big bully & take Daryl for granted.

Just remembered, in season 1 when Glenn saved Rick trapped inside the tank and Rick asked him why, Glenn said, "if I'm ever that far up shit creek, somebody might do the same for me."
