Also, you literally just pointed out how TLJ is actually the only good movie. Clearly your physics knowledge proved how smart using aircraft to destroy ships is. my point from the start isnt that Haldo's move was dumb, it was that it retcons the series and makes everyone dumb. so thanks for agreeing with me. the fact that it was never tried was due to some unwritten rule, which wasn't just broken without explaining. in fact they said all shields cant block light speed objects, so it ruined all of the other battles. they didnt exploit knowledge, they created it, so they could have a deus ex machinma to subvert expectations. i wont bother to ask if u know what a DEM is, clearly thats too tough of a concept.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Star Wars has ever shown auto pilot light speed. Also it isn't unreasonable to assume the fact that Holdo used a massive cruiser as being the main factor in the success of that attack. I know you've been trying to argue against this point already, and I'm not going to bother trying to convince you, but it makes sense.

When TLJ ended it was very clear that Kylo was the villian. JJ pussied out and redeemed him extremely early in RoS because of all the fanbabies who cried that kylo was supposed to be redeemed.

Actually, that was said in FA not TLJ, and was specifically referencing the shield of Star Killer Base, not the basic generic shielding technology of the Star Wars universe.

if it had shields that could block items going slower than light speed the ship would have bounced off it.

Rian/JJ wrote themselves into a corner, they're in one hand saying "items as fast as the speed of light cant be blocked by shields" but also has ships flying at light speed, which would mean any debris in space (and there's a lot) would tear a ship apart and leak right through their shields.

there's a reason Lucas didnt involve passing light speed shields, its because it makes light speed travel impossible. but JJ and Rian had to drop a "muh story" on everyone because they're lazy.

JJ/Rian fucked up stuff not just from their trilogy, but from all 3.

and most of the fuck ups in TFA and TLJ are only as bad as they are because JJ couldn't carbon copy the original trilogy. Rey had to be a mary sue, otherwise she'd be an exact clone of Luke. they made her less believable just so she could not be called a Luke rip off. lol.
