also your setting when watching a movie affects how scary(or not) it is. im not saying this particular movie was especially scary... but with a loud surround sound in an empty house late at night.. any scary movie can make you jump... they're designed to. all it takes is a storyline you can get into and some loud noises. BOOM. made-ya-jump.
i just watched the original friday the 13th.... i dont think i had ever seen all the way through... it was one of those movies i always saw parts of growing up..
really nothing spectacular but it spawned a legacy nonetheless.
I was watching it at around 3 PM on a rainy & cloudy day in my room with my aunt being in the living room.
It wasn't "scary" just really, idk fucked up lol
