True good point!
I think they just tried to do too many things. I thought Thena/Jolie did a really good job with her character though. A couple others were good too, but Sersi, Ikaris, and Druig were bleh imo.
All that being said a 48% on Rotten tomatoes is harsh considering the scores of some other superhero movies. (looking at you wonder woman). I think we all know why wonder woman did so well review wise...

Wonder Woman is a much better movie than eternals. The reviews definitely overrate it some but it’s an above average superhero movie

Yeah the cramming together reminded me of DC movies. I haven’t watched either of the WW movies. Maybe I’ll give them a shot.

I had zero clue what was going on which made it hard to really enjoy it. I read about it after to try to understand and in retrospect I see what happened, but I don't think that makes for a good movie. Having to rely on the person watching knowing the source material.

Could have just been the copy I was watching but I also found some voice acting really difficult to hear, which made it that much more difficult.
