Signs (2002)

was a well-made, easily watchable movie. I was surprised at the budget being $72million, it felt much lower.

It had a few interesting things to say, but not enough to really make it a great movie.

GI Joe Rise of Cobra

despite being an objectively terrible and silly movie, I'll actually give it a grade of C+ because it was slick and easy to watch. It knew its role and didn't take itself too seriously. It executed the formula arguably better than anything else has. It was a cartoon brought to live action.

The movie basically had 2 real plot points. But I'm disappointed that the main cast seems to have bailed on the franchise. If they had continued having 2 plot points per movie, the story could have eventually gotten somewhere after 3 or 4 movies.

With Shia Laboeuf, Rachel Evan Wood and Mads Mikkelsen.

I wanted to watch this movie for a while ... it was finaly this evening. Everything is great in this movie, screenplay, actors, musics, photographies...

I highly recommand it ! 4,5/5
