I personally thought it was a good movie, and I feel like Peace Maker has done an excellent job of building on that weirdness and overall chaotic formula. Exactly where I'm at. I'm anticipating 4-5/10, but if it does better, I'll be pleasantly surprised and that'll be great. I don't plan on seeing it in theaters though, I'll be streaming this one for sure.

I can see that. The ridiculousness of the Kaiju made me fucking laugh though. Seriously, that movie (and Peace Maker tbh) is SUPER hit or miss for people. It jived with my sense of humor, so I was kind of surprised by some of the people who disliked it, but there's always subtle differences between the shit people find humorous. It does seem like more people than not enjoyed it, and Kaiju aside, it did a lot of stuff excellently, at least A LOT better than the original. The whole B-List squad getting shredded was hilarious, fucking Harley straight murdering the guy she just fell in love with.
