I'm starting to get worried that Tenet might end up being the victim of unrealistically high expectations. At this point, I am expecting it to walk out of the theater feeling like I need to watch it again so I can process it. If the movie doesn't take me into uncharted territory, I am going to feel disappointed. But I realize that's asking a lot.

Maybe I'm just a cynic who figured Nolan is due to make something that underperforms. My gut tells me we are in for something that feels on par with Looper.

I loved Looper.

At least with Nolan even if it isn't amazing it will for sure be entertaining. I am disappointed that Hans Zimmer isn't doing the score. He absolutely killed it in every Nolan movie.

I think you are setting yourself up for failure.
