edit: if u cannot, please just stay on topic, regardless of your politics. Personally just don't ever really seeing such things in fictional movies from the past, or a franchise like Jurassic park.


Personally I just don't think it adds anything positive to the movie, in fact the point im making is that if they make the decision to put that in the movie, what other decisions are being made that have nothing to add to the quality of the movie?
Does it affect how good the movie is?

That is really heavy handed and it's a bit annoying, the podcast really drags and gets bad at times when they try to focus on the relationships instead of the original story.

Fallen Kingdom is just a bad movie, and a single line about climate change didn't make or break it. They didn't even change anything about filming or editing to use that line, they literally did the scene the way they wanted then thought of what news scroll to put on the feed and decided on that one because it is currently relevant. Get the fuck over it, it's a bad movie because it was poorly thought out and made for money, not passion.

Anyway, there was a little ticker at the bottom on the news channel screen and it read something like 'President denies climate change' or something like that. An attack on President Trump.


Now regardless of whether its true or not, they literally could have made up anything fictional and ran it along the bottom of that ticker as the news. Instead movie makers put a subtle little message delivered to the audience on their views.


One would hope the movie makers would just focus on making a halfway decent story/movie. Instead Hollywood filmmakers try to have some sort of influence on viewers of these big budget movies.



And we all know how Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom turned out... The worst in the franchise. And personally, I liked Jurassic World, but fallen kingdom was just bad.

It's realistic, it's something that would actually be on a news channel. Again, if you're too fragile to watch a movie without getting offended over a fact scrolling across the bottom of the screen for half a second, you need to just stay at home and spare us the whiny garbage.

E: For shits and giggles though, did you know that it's against the constitution to single out people based solely on their religion? A Muslim ban against countries that don't even make sense sure doesn't violate that at all.... The guy has pissed all over the constitution since day one, but none of it matters cause facts are meaningless when speaking to supporters of the current POTUS.
