Should I make a new thread for movie of the week, for all of them? Or a new weekly thread?

Edit: if you want in on this (picking the movies) pm me and I'll get a list together of everyone. If that's ok.

A new thread every week would give it a better structure. Every new film has a dedicated thread to discuss about it. It could also attract new participants. On the other hand it would cluster this sub forum since there aren't a lot of new topics every week.

One general thread would be more chaotic, but it would be the one place to go to for everything related to this "event". But I have the suspision, that after a few weeks in, there will be only 3-4 guys left with this "weekly homework". thing

Don't know, it's your shot, I'm in for the idea though.

Pretty sure 1 thread a week isn't gonna clog ant sub forum too much

if we went with a monthly thread rotating actors and watched a predetermined 4-5 of their movies throughout the month it would reduce the potential for forum clutter, the thread would be a bit more messy than a weekly movie one though

I'd vote for a new thread. Maybe we could get it stickied after a few months, but I'd stick to one thread and we just keep going with it. I'm in btw.

I'll make the first thread on February 4th and try a new movie every Sunday, with Saturday being the last day to talk about the previous week's movie. I'll make the first weekly thread and then decide on future weeks of we should continue the single thread or start a new one.

If anyone has an idea for a good movie to start with give me a pm or post it here.

The rules I think should be imposed:

No movie released within the last year (unless it didn't get wide release).
No troll movies (like the room or whatever).
No B movies (unless everyone wants to include these).

Post if you have additional ideas for rules or want to contest a rule before the first week.
