Maybe, but I doubt it, they make a spin on it and they release a movie from Hulk's point of view. But if they stay in line with the Avengers Movies they would have to work around the plot.




Agreed, besides some Spider Man and X-Men Storys Planet Hulk is the only Marvel book worth checking out.

I also recommend the animated movie, not perfect in any way but fun.

i was pointing out the exact reason it won't happen...hulks character currently doesn't work as a standalone because it's just billed as a 90% aimless smash beast that sometimes acknowledges being told what to smash. the vast majority want "hulk smash" over hulk talking/falling in love/ruling a planet.

would people that know more about hulk than what they've seen in just the avengers movies enjoy it? sure, but that's not really the target audience of these movies.

I would love to see a heartbreaking drama with superheros, Hulk would be a fitting character.

Logan tried to go in the right direction but didn't nail it in my opinion. Maybe in a few years, when the mainstream cinema visitor is filled with the standard marvel formula.

Don't know, didn't hit me on an emotional level, hard to point a finger on it.
It also suffered from the same disease like any other Superhero movie recently, I forgot the whole plot after 2-3 days. Can't even name the antagonist nor his motivation.

As I mentioned Logan did a few things right and I want this trend to continue.

The antagonist wasn't important, he was more of a plot device to drive the story of Logan and his daughter forward. You shouldn't really examine it the same way you would a more traditional movie.

hulk isn't really a superhero though currently which is the biggest issue. he's currently a lightly aimed weapon half the time and a cry baby when he's not the weapon.

could planet hulk with a shit ton of time hulk being bruce banner work...sure, but thats not how planet hulk story was and hulk was a walking talking leader of men that loved and not just 100% hate.

Which basically only happened in that storyline, I mean the story happened because of his hate and anger.

Just the way I felt about the movie. Every plot device should be important to have an impact.



But he should, there is a dramatic story hidden behind this character.
The Edward Norton movie tried to deliver this, but failed.

I wonder if we will get to see the last gem stone in this movie
