What, you didn't find Kungfu Yoga a cinematic masterpiece?

I don't really like him as a person but Tom Cruise usually pulls a big audience with his movies.

If we're talking pure numbers, it's Cruze, Depp, and Tyler Perry. - They get work constantly, they earn boatloads, and they make boatloads. All of them are highly marketable and profitable.

If we're talking who's got the most pull, is getting the best movies, pulling the biggest audiences, and cashing in, i'd say it's the following list

Chris Pratt, Dwayne Johnson, Leo, Damon, and probably Ben Affleck

As far as actually good actors go at the moment, few of my favorites are (in no particular order)

Jake Gylenhal - he's been terrific in everything, even Prince of Persia which was total garbage, he was at least okay
Leo - he's just a solid actor, don't care what any of you say
Fassbender- Work speaks for itself
Leto - Joker sucked balls, but he's been phenomenal in everything else
McConaughey - hated him until I saw True Detective, gotta give him credit though, he's just a solid actor
Christian Bale - Hasn't done too much lately, but he's still acting and movies like Prestige, Machinist, American Pyscho etc... make him one of my all time favorites
Joseph Gordon Levitt - Another guy who just keeps doing solid movies. People seem to have mixed feelings about Looper, I thought he was perfect.
Affleck - Phantoms like a ma fucker! - He's a good actor, but it's for his directorial skills that I think he's just well above average all around. Gone Baby Gone was amazing imo.
Benedict Cumberbatch - He makes the list just because of Sherlock, fucking loved that show, sad it's over.

Then a few other actors who I enjoy, but are meh, w/e.

Damon (he's usually above average, but wouldn't say he's great)
Jeremy Renner
Tom Hardy
Hugh Jackman
RDJ
Chris Pratt
Pitt
James McAvoy

Many more, just a few off the top of my head.

I feel Casey Affleck deserves to be on the list with his brother.

Just haven't seen him enough. I've enjoyed what I have seen him in, but I wouldn't put him as a top actor or anything. He could have made my "actors I enjoy" list.

Everything he had been in he has been phenomenal, gone baby gone, Manchester by the sea, the finest hours, just to name a few.

Haven't seen those last two. I'll have to check them out. Like I said, I've enjoyed everything I've seen him in, just haven't seen enough movies with him.

He is one of my favourite actors, he feels so real and not Hollywood. I just wish he was in more things.

I agree. I think a lot of that is having a brother who's 100x more famous then he'll ever be. It's good, it's hard to be pompous when your fucking brother is an insane actor+director
