You shouldn't be watching movies if you needed anything from this explained to you.

A lot of people enjoyed it, I personally thought it was terrible. The characters were all unlikable and there just wasn't any reason for me to care or even still be watching by the end of the film. That's a problem for me. If I don't care about a single person in the entire movie, it's hard for me to feel as though it was a good movie.

Covenant looks good and I'll watch it, but Ridley Scott has really let me down with his last few movies and I'm trying to temper my expectations.

Trailer looks cool but the Prometheus trailer look cool too and I thought it was a terrible film. They completely ruined the space jockey by making it basically a guy in a space flight suit.
