While they may have not started officially scripting episodes, you know both creators were going over endless scenarios, characters, and plot points in their heads. It takes a long time when it's pretty much just the two guys writing it and one guy doing 90% of the voice acting. Rick and Morty is by far the best animated comedy I've seen in my lifetime (archer being my #2). I just don't mind waiting for something so sinfully good. I love everything about this show and I can't wait to see which direction they go with it.
Of course I'm intrigued to find out more about Rick's back story, his wife, the crimes he's committed to make him the most wanted man in every universe, and ofc what made the other morty snap to the point of killing and controlling his Rick. But even if they don't touch on any of that, I wouldn't give a shit, because I'm 99.9999% positive I'll enjoy whatever they throw at us.
I've been going crazy with excitement and anticipation for season 3 since the day the season 2 finale aired. I'm just doing my damndest to patiently wait for the extended goodness (14 mother fucking episodes) we will surely start receiving by the end of April at the latest.
Have you seen the original version, Doc and Mharti? Was not expecting them to do what they did

I would post a youtube link, but its too outrageous.
