Its a remake so obviously not gonna be the same cheesy thing as in 90's.however i still think its pretty early to make that assumption.

Cant wait to see this movie.

You have romanticized the old show too much. It was a chessy terrible kids show. Cheesy and terrible. The movie is for the old audience of the show, who are now in their 20s-30s so obviously it is going to be different.

Wtf if you aren't going to get with the times then just rewatch the old movies. Studios aren't going to spend 100s+ million in today's dollars to make the movie similarly to its 90s or predated counterpart.

This. I loved the series when I was like 5-7, but it's objectively shit and very childish. If they want to make an adult movie, they have to change a lot of stuff and make it darker.

They should obviously keep some stuff like the morphing, giant robots/enemies, original theme, etc as they are core elements that will give the viewers a nice nostalgia vibe, but they'll have to tweak them a bit and the over all product must be different if they want to target older audiences.
