Felt like the movie was pretty good. They spent a lot of time building up certain members I feel like the sequel will give us more of everyone else.

this joker is the comics joker just like bales batman not really batman just a character that wears a batman costume and has little in common from the comics version compared to batfleck

Ledger's joker was closer to the comics than Leto's is.
Just got back from the movie and I liked it but there are a few issues I had.

Mainly some shots were held far too long, but this isn't really the movies fault, it is more the fault of 3D being so big and you have to hold shots longer when filming in 3D vs normal filming.

Second issue is the joker, I didn't like him at all. He is the farthest thing from comic book that we have ever seen imo.

Hopefully if we see him in future films he is written a bit better. I am willing to admit my issue might just be with what his role in the film was, we will see.

Did you enjoy the plot, script and acting overall? I thought it was dreadful most of the time.

I personally felt the actors had great chemistry together. I enjoyed the way they did the back story and how they handled the creation of the team. The whole dinner scene was probably my favourite part of the film. There was obviously a bit of an imbalance issue as far as character development goes.

Only deadshot, Rick, harley and katana felt properly developed, diablo was halfway there. But with that said slipknot didn't need development as the choosen exploding man(theres one with every new suicide squad lineup), and the line "they treated him like a monster so he became a monster" was all we got for killer croc... but I think that was enough really. Boomerang was the main guy I feel could have been worked on more, but if he didn't make the cut for the next film it is understandable.

The big bad didn't have a lot of development, but she had enough imo. Old ass metahuman that wants to be worshiped as a God. It was once again only a small scene, but the scene explained her entire motivation and also made her defeat make sense. She could have easily killed the team but she wanted them to worship her, harley gave her that, then cut her heart out.

Overall I enjoyed it more than either avengers film because it actually felt like there was something at stake, I cared if the team succeeded or not and the team almost didn't succeed, it even felt at times as if they wouldn't.

The only way marvel seems to be able to create tension in their films is through inter-team fighting. Marvel heroes are always against villains weaker than the heroes by drastic amounts and the whole team not getting along shit is getting annoying. It was refreshing to see a film where the 'good' guys might not have won due to external forces rather than internal ones.

I was thoroughly enjoying this film all the way up until the final battle, which was the fucking worst gdamn battle sequence in any modern mainstream big budget super hero movie. I cant get into it without spoilers but it was cringe moment after cringe moment.

I done seen it.

It's not as messy as the other dc movies put out, but it's far from great.

The action scenes were very good.

The plot/dialogue/acting was shitty for the most part.

Joker wasn't really featured often, the movie wouldn't have been much different without him. Jared did ok though, giving how difficult it would have been for any actor to follow heaths version of him.

Batman cameos were ok.

Harley was the best thing about the movie.

Deadshot was ok. Didn't like the scenes and dialog around his daughter though.

Diablo was decent.

The others were side parts and just added to the action/cheese.

The witch was terrible.

I wasn't a fan of a lot of the acting, harley and deadshot were very good, however

also I completely agree with the action and plot/dialogue lines

was kind of how I expected it to be; an entertaining movie but not a particularly well-done movie
