Does it deserve respect for staying around for 10 years? Maybe...but all 90's shows stayed for a long time.

A lot of conversations I have go Office Space(only thing I can stand jen in) -> Jen(what you dont like jen? what about friends) - > Friends(I dont like friends at all, do you? Oh you dont really like it either now that you think about it? how surprising.....). I have literally not met a single person that has claimed to like friends.

Walking Dead definitely should not be on the list either. Although it certainly deserves an award for having so many people bitching about it while continuing to watch it.

Actually, let's take your own argument from the other thread. Look at South park and other shows blah blah blah whatever. Literally the only time you see friends mentioned in pop culture is when it is being made fun of.

Jesus you guys are crazy how i met your mother and friends are very similar in style/reception. It's just as sitcoms about modern relationships aimed at a lowest common denominator they were never going to please everyone and have an abnormal amount of haters
How i met your mother is more comedy but it came after, was probably just what people wanted at that point. But saying friends this, how i met your mother that, like they are completely different is ridiculous
