I don't get why people using facts obtained outside of the shows itself have to sound like such pompous assholes when talking to people trying to speculate based on info from the show.
Do you really not get why someone would rather speculate about how a story line will unfold instead of "fact checking" for shit like "oh the actor has a contract so he has to be there."
I get why someone would want to speculate. Let's speculate:
What is Jon going to do when he gets up? Is he going to want to kill his murders or find a way to work things out? Is the Night's Watch going to revere him as some sort of divine creature because he is somehow still alive? Will his death/rebirth change his goals for life?
It makes sense to speculate on things we don't know. But asking whether or not Jon will be revived doesn't fall into the category of 'things we don't know'. The way the story has progressed, the show has gone out of its way to make it painstakingly obvious that Melisandre is there to revive him. Trying to call that speculation would be like saying "I speculate that Tyrion may consume an alcoholic beverage at some point during this season."
